Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan and US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel to Copenhagen over the weekend to meet with representatives of Brazil, India, South Africa, Turkey to discuss peace principles for Ukraine, the Financial Times reports, citing informed sources.
According to sources, Ukraine has requested a meeting with developing countries in the Global South. Representatives from Brazil, India, South Africa and Turkey are expected to attend the event, but the list of participants has not yet been approved. There is no information that the PRC will take part in it at a high level, however, it is likely that Beijing will send a lower-level official to the meeting as an observer.

The U.S. will represent Sullivan and Nuland, and a senior EU official is also expected to attend. The officials will discuss peace principles for Ukraine in an informal setting, although there is no intention to achieve concrete results during the meeting.
