Yuga Labs Introduces a New NFT Collection Under the CryptoPunks Brand

Yuga Labs has announced the release of a new collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) under the popular CryptoPunks brand. The new NFTs were created as part of a collaboration program with creatives including artist Nina Abney, who created a series called Super Punk World.
Creative process and concept
Artist Nina Abney brings her unique concept to life by creating images of human body parts and converting them into digital format. She then generated more than 10,000 pictures and selected 500 images representing various characters such as a policeman, a boxer and Santa Claus.
Auction Super Punk World
An auction will begin on May 29, where tokens from the Super Punk World collection will be sold. The auction will be conducted according to the Dutch auction model, where the initial price will be declared high and gradually reduced over time until a set minimum is reached or the asset is purchased.
Reaction of the crypto community
The news about the release of coins caused negative reviews in the crypto community. Some members expressed doubts about the success of the sale of tokens from the Super Punk World collection. The founder of the portal for trading rare satoshi Magisat, known under the pseudonym quary.sats, expressed his opinion about the new project of Yuga Labs, calling it “the stupidest stupidity” for the CryptoPunks brand.
