Kumeka Team will host the First Ukrainian Solana Hackathon with a Prize Pool of $200,000

The Kumeka Team announced the first Ukrainian hackathon on the Solana platform. The event, called Kumekathon, will take place from June 14 to 20, 2024 as part of Ukrainian Blockchain Week 2024.
Format and Registration
Registration and submission of projects to the hackathon will be carried out through the PitchTalk platform. Participation in the hackathon is possible both for free and online, which opens the door to a wide audience of developers and startups. In Kyiv, on Borisoglebskaya Street, 15-B, there will be a permanent location in the BeeWorking coworking space, where participants can gather and work on their projects.
The main goal of the hackathon is to create breakthrough Web3 startups that will be appreciated and accepted by the Ukrainian and global Web3 community. The event's prize pool is $200,000, including prizes, grants and seed funding for promising projects. The winner and two runners-up will also receive media support totaling $10,000 from cryptomedia Incrypted, one of the organizers of Ukrainian Blockchain Week 2024.
Presentations and Features
The best hackathon projects will have the opportunity to present themselves to a wide audience of the Ukrainian Web3 community at UBW’2024, as well as directly to representatives of the Solana Foundation. Among the honored guests of the event will be the Executive Director of the Solana Foundation, Dan Albert, who will come to Kyiv specifically to participate in the event.
The hackathon will also feature students from the Ukrainian Solana Bootcamp, an intensive training program on the fundamentals of cryptography and Solana programming launched by the Kumeka Team in May. Prizes will be drawn among Bootcamp graduates, which will be an additional incentive for beginning developers.
Solana KUMEKATHON! Meetup
On June 21, the third Solana KUMEKATHON will take place in Kyiv! Meetup, where hackathon finalists, the best Ukrainian teams in the Solana ecosystem and community members will share their experience and achievements in the Web3 field. Entry to the event will be free, but pre-registration is required.
