Kronos Advanced Technologies, a well-known manufacturer of air purifiers, has announced that it has started accepting Shiba Inu (SHIB) memcoin as a means of payment. Information about this was filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company's management said the move is aimed at supporting innovation and meeting the needs of customers using cryptocurrencies. Kronos is ready to provide its customers with the opportunity to quickly and safely pay for goods using memcoins.
To celebrate the adoption of SHIB, Kronos offered holders of these tokens a special 10% discount. To receive a discount, customers can use a special promotional code when placing an order. This is not Kronos’ first move into cryptocurrencies: the company previously began accepting Dogecoin (DOGE), another popular memecoin.

Kronos Advanced Technologies CEO Greg Rubin commented on the innovation:
"We are pleased to announce that we are the first publicly traded company to accept SHIB in exchange for our air purification devices. We are committed to accommodating customers who use cryptocurrencies. This move is part of our strategy to include a variety of digital coins in payment options."
Kronos is not the only company implementing SHIB into its payment systems. Recently, the American dental company Amore Orthodontic Aligners also announced that it accepts Shiba Inu tokens. Patients can now pay SHIB for braces, retainers and other orthodontic services.
Interest in SHIB among politicians
Not only companies, but also politicians are showing interest in SHIB crypto assets. Last year, American Shannon Bray, who was running for governor of North Carolina, expressed support for the SHIB memcoin and announced his plans to increase the number of these tokens in his portfolio.
