Joint initiative with Helika

The team of the clicker game Notcoin, in partnership with the analytical Web 3.0 platform Helika, which uses artificial intelligence, announced the launch of an accelerator for developers of blockchain games in the Telegram messenger. The program will focus on supporting the development of mini-applications based on the TON blockchain.

Support from Helika and venture capital

In March, Helika raised $50 million in venture capital to launch a crypto gaming accelerator. This initiative aims to make it easier to integrate crypto tools into games in the early stages of development, as well as into the products of large game studios. Helika has experience collaborating with industry giants such as Ubisoft and Yuga Labs, which created the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection.

A Helika spokesperson told Decrypt that while the previous program and the new Telegram accelerator may share some resources, they are separate initiatives with different funding sources. This division will allow us to focus on the specific needs of each project.

Project goals and objectives

Notcoin co-author Sasha Plotvinov noted that the accelerator will become a platform for creating “viral, entertaining, competitive social crypto-games” on Telegram. This opens up new opportunities for developers looking to use blockchain technology to create unique gaming experiences.

At the end of June, the Notcoin team conducted a significant token burn, destroying 210 million NOTs worth $3 million. It also announced $4.2 million in NOT payouts to participants in the Notcoin Explore rewards program. These steps highlight the project's commitment to supporting its ecosystem and encouraging active user participation.

Cobo support

In July, institutional crypto custodian Cobo added support for the TON blockchain and the NOT coin issued on its basis. This partnership expands the capabilities for secure storage and management of assets on the platform, which is an important step for the further development and popularization of the project.

The launch of an accelerator for game developers on Telegram from the Notcoin team together with Helika represents a significant step in the development of blockchain games. The program aims to create innovative and exciting crypto games, providing developers with the necessary tools and support to successfully integrate blockchain technologies.
