US presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced plans to release a fourth collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This information was announced in an interview with Bloomberg published this week. Trump highlighted the success of previous collections, which quickly sold out.

Success of previous collections

During the interview, Trump talked about significant interest in his previous NFT collections. According to him, users purchased about 45,000 tokens, with 80% of purchases made in cryptocurrency. He noted that this success opened his eyes to the potential of the NFT market and digital assets in general.

“We sold all 45,000 NFTs. 80% of purchases were made in cryptocurrency. And it opened my eyes. I've released collections three times and I'm going to do it again. Because the people want it,” Trump said.

Prospects for the new collection

In April 2024, Trump's first NFT collection saw a sharp 99% drop in trading volume in 30 days. Despite this, the politician expressed confidence in stable demand for his digital assets. He previously hinted at releasing a fourth collection during a meeting with NFT collectors, but did not make specific promises at the time.

“I believe in supply and demand. But as you know, the first collection was good, the second and third too. At some point, maybe everything will change,” Trump said.

Crypto industry support

Donald Trump actively supports the development of digital assets and the crypto industry in the United States. He stressed the importance of promoting these technologies at the national level so as not to lose leadership to China or other countries.

“If we don’t do this, this trend will be picked up by China. Or someone else. “Cryptocurrency is here to stay, and that’s surprising,” Trump said.

Earlier, Trump announced his intention to become a “crypto president” and publicly supported the work of mining companies in the United States. Despite a recent attempt on his life at a press conference in Pennsylvania, the politician continues his campaign and plans to speak at the Bitcoin 2024 conference, which will be held from July 25 to 27.

As such, Donald Trump's fourth NFT collection symbolizes his continued strong support of digital assets and commitment to innovation in the crypto industry.
