Village Protocol: Manta Pacific Adopts MultiDA, Cubist Releases Key Management Solution on Babylon

On Tuesday, August 12th, Manta Pacific, the native Layer 2 (L2) of the Manta Network blockchain, announced that it was "the first L2 to adopt MultiDA (Multiple Data Availability)". According to the project team: "This MultiDA strategy will ensure service continuity and cost efficiency without impacting user experience or fees. By collaborating with partners such as Celestia, Nuffle Labs, EigenDA, 0G, Nubit, and Dill, Manta aims to enhance the security, resilience, and uptime of its network. Since the implementation of Celestia DA in December 2023, Manta has saved its users over $6 million."

Cubist, through its key management platform CubeSigner, has announced the release of the "first and only key management solution" for Babylon, a Bitcoin staking protocol. The Cubist team noted: "CubeSigner now supports full and secure policy-protected workflows for Babylon deposits, early unlocks, and withdrawals. The platform also provides Babylon-based development capabilities, allowing developers to easily stake Bitcoin, build Babylon-based protocols, applications, and custom wallets by attaching staking policies to keys bound to hardware, providing a level of security comparable to on-chain smart contracts."
