The Trump Organization, a company owned by former US President Donald Trump, will soon unveil its new cryptocurrency initiative, according to a report published Wednesday in the New York Post.

Eric Trump, who serves as executive vice president of the Trump Organization, spoke about the upcoming project in an interview with the Post. However, he chose not to go into detail, saying only that "as soon as everything is finalized," the project will be officially announced. In his statement, he hinted that the new project could be related to "digital real estate," suggesting that users will be able to use it to lend or borrow funds.

Earlier this month, Eric Trump expressed his growing fascination with cryptocurrency in a post on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "I'm really falling in love with Crypto/DeFi. Expect a big announcement." In an interview with the Post, he emphasized: "It's fair. It's collateral that anyone can access instantly. I'm not sure people realize what a game-changer this is for the world of banking and finance." Trump also noted that he has a "unique perspective" on how easy it is to limit people's access to certain markets, noting that his family has also faced financial discrimination. "At some point, I think we all want to be financially independent and live in a world where we don't have to play by the big banks," he added. "That day is coming."
