Cryptocurrency platform Bitget has rolled out a new feature with Telegram.

This makes the process of managing crypto assets more accessible by eliminating the need to manage private keys.
Using keyless MPC (multi-party computing) technology, Telegram users can access their Bitget crypto wallets without having to manage mnemonic phrases or complex security processes. Bitget said the update improves both security and usability.
Telegram, known for its privacy features, is one of the most popular apps in the world, with over 950 million active users, according to Apple.
Since October 2023, Bitget has been actively simplifying the process of creating and owning Web3 wallets. The MPC-powered wallet allows users to create wallets using email, Google and Apple IDs, and now Telegram accounts.
Bitget surpasses MetaMask in downloads
Earlier this month, Bitget reported that its wallet was downloaded over 1.6 million times in July 2024, surpassing MetaMask's 1.5 million downloads during the same period. The Bitget wallet has reached 30 million users worldwide, representing a 150% year-over-year growth.
