Kamala Harris and Donald Trump Prepare for Presidential Debate A new poll shows Polymarket users predicting Harris to win the highly anticipated debate on ABC.
Tuesday night's debate will be the first since Trump and current US President and former candidate Joe Biden met in June.
Biden dropped out of the race in July after a poor performance in a debate with Harris, the new Democratic nominee.
Polymarket has a long history of making political predictions about Trump and Harris. Users of the decentralized prediction market overwhelmingly predict the former reality TV star will win the 2024 US presidential election over the former attorney general, giving Trump 52% of the vote.
Trump and Harris are neck and neck in the polls, with experts predicting the polls could reach record highs this week ahead of the debate.
A majority of Polymarket participants also predict that viewership will exceed 75 million, which would be comparable to the 84 million who watched Trump and Hillary Clinton debate in 2016.

Crypto For Harris, a left-leaning digital asset advocacy group, held its first meeting last month with several prominent politicians in an attempt to drum up support for the Democratic nominee.
“Only one person running for president has called crypto a scam, and that’s Donald Trump,” Rep. Wylie Nickel told viewers on the livestream, referencing the former president’s old anti-crypto posts on Platform X.
Meanwhile, Trump and Harris’ running mates, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), will face off in a CBS debate on Oct. 1.
