Since the beginning of the year, Wilcke has already made four large sales of ETH, the total volume of which amounted to 44,300 ETH, which is equivalent to $148 million. The average sale price was $3,342 per coin.

Wilcke currently holds 106,102 ETH, which is valued at approximately $381.26 million. In addition to ETH, his portfolio only contains 581.7 Ethereum Name Service (ENS) tokens, which are worth $20,563.

It is worth noting that Jeffrey Wilcke has previously been criticized for similar actions. In 2019, he sold 92,000 ETH, which caused discontent among the community. At the time, he explained that these funds were used to develop his gaming company Grid Games. According to his LinkedIn profile, Wilcke continues to lead this company.

Such actions are not uncommon among the founders of Ethereum. For example, Vitalik Buterin has been repeatedly accused of selling his assets. However, Buterin claims that he has been storing the cryptocurrency since 2018, and his transactions are used either to support projects on the blockchain or for charity. At the same time, he admits that the end recipients of his funds often sell the assets on the market.
