In the city of Gap, two parking spaces were purchased for cryptocurrency, the cost of which was 0.33 Bitcoin.

Bitcoinimmo is an innovative platform created by Renaud Escaut and Nicolas Fourchet, which ensures safe real estate transactions, acting as an intermediary. As the founders of the project noted, the seller insisted on payment in Bitcoin in order to protect his funds from inflation. All stages of the agreement on the terms of the transaction were carried out in a video conference format.

The transaction took only two minutes. Bitcoinimmo representatives emphasized that such speed is one of the key advantages of settlements in cryptocurrency. It was also noted that the transactions are completely transparent, since the transactions are recorded in the blockchain, which eliminates the possibility of manipulation.

In legal terms, the transaction is practically no different from standard real estate purchase and sale agreements. It was executed with the participation of a notary and has full legal force.

The crypto community, which actively monitors the development of such initiatives, is interested in the issues of taxes and notary fees: in what form they were paid and whether tax obligations were applied to this transaction. However, Bitcoinimmo representatives have so far refrained from commenting on these issues.
