Schueller is accused of tax evasion amounting to millions of euros and assault. Europol claims that he physically assaulted the 16-year-old victim and punched her in the face several times.
Earlier, in July 2023, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged Hart with selling unregistered securities. According to the regulator, he raised more than $1 billion through the HEX, PLS, and PLSX tokens, and was also involved in fraud. By autumn 2024, the Finnish police also became interested in his activities.
Despite the scandals, Richard Hart continues to actively express his position. On the night of December 22, he posted a message on the X social network, hinting at his confidence in the future. Hart noted that the PulseX, PulseChain, and HEX projects are working without interruption, despite criticism from certain groups. He also said: "Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come."
Meanwhile, the value of the HEX token has fallen by almost 30% in a week, reaching $0.0039, although the asset has grown by 190% over the past six months. This drop is due to the news of Hart's wanted list.
Hart's projects have been repeatedly criticized by the crypto community. For example, an analyst under the pseudonym Goldman Sats said that the main goal of HEX is to enrich its creator at the expense of investors.
Recall that in 2022, the SEC sent subpoenas to influencers promoting HEX, PulseChain, and PulseX, which caused controversy in the community. And in 2020, HEX ads were heavily featured during English Premier League matches, highlighting the token's 11,500% growth in just 129 days.
