According to the survey, 38.9% of women expect that over 40% of the gaming industry will adopt blockchain within the next year, while among men this figure was only 25.1%. The survey involved 623 professionals from various fields of Web3 gaming, including infrastructure, marketing, design, investment, media, and artificial intelligence.

At the same time, almost half of men predict that less than 20% of the gaming industry will adopt blockchain within the next year, while only a quarter of women share such pessimistic views.

Representatives of the younger generation (18-24 years old) are more confident in the prospects of blockchain in gaming. Almost 82% of them believe that the adoption of the technology will reach 20% or more within a year. At the same time, among respondents over 45, this figure is only 43.2%.

Experts are also optimistic. Jesse Pollack, the creator of the Base network, noted that blockchain allows you to combine virtual and real possessions, giving players the opportunity to save their assets and use them in different games.

According to Gillian Pua of Sovrun, autonomous worlds and blockchain games create unique opportunities for deeper immersion in the gaming process. However, not everyone is positive. Matt Dion of the consulting company Always Scheming believes that blockchain gaming is still a niche area with problems finding the right audience.

Axie University in the Philippines, created during the Axie Infinity boom in 2021, has undergone significant changes. Initially, the university helped Filipinos affected by the pandemic earn money by playing Axie Infinity. However, after the crash of the cryptocurrency market, player incomes dropped sharply and the number of participants decreased.

Axie University co-founder Spraki decided not to shut down the project, but to turn it into a sustainable educational platform. Today, the university, known as AXU, helps gamers learn skills for working in the Web3 industry and provides scholarships for participating in games in the YGG ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the Beam Foundation has launched a node sale, allowing users to earn rewards for validating the network. Early investors can earn triple returns if they manage to purchase nodes in the initial sale phase.

Beam, which runs on the Avalanche platform, is preparing to switch to its own proof-of-stake consensus mechanism in 2025. This network gives game developers the opportunity to create projects with full control over the game assets.

Network upgrades expected early next year will open up new opportunities for validators and strengthen Beam's position as an important platform for blockchain gaming.
