In a post on X, he expressed his opinion that important changes could happen in the coming year that will have a significant impact on the development of cryptocurrencies and tokenization technologies.
Horsley noted that the Trump administration could lift restrictions on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), which would allow large companies to expand significantly. According to him, in 2025, companies like Amazon and Google could make massive deals by acquiring other large businesses like Instacart and Uber. This will lead to the large players becoming even more influential, while smaller companies will shrink.
“The world is on the cusp of change, and this change is necessary for progress,” Horsley wrote. He emphasized that stagnation is the main enemy, not change. The expert is optimistic, saying that 2025 is when we will see real progress, and he is looking forward to it.
Horsley also emphasized that this year we will see an increase in the number of corporations investing in Bitcoin. According to HODL 15 Capital, 11 public companies have increased their investments in the cryptocurrency since last Monday. Moreover, according to sources, at least 16 billionaires have also invested in Bitcoin, indicating growing confidence among the world's wealthiest people.
“2025 will be the year that many corporations join the Bitcoin standard,” Horsley added. His statement became relevant after MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor also announced a new Bitcoin purchase, confirming that such activity is ongoing.
In addition, Horsley noted in one of his posts that tokenization could be a revolutionary step for stock markets. In his opinion, most people focus on the demand side and democratization of access to capital markets, but the real revolution, he says, is hidden in the supply side. In the U.S., only about 4,600 companies have access to public capital markets, while more than 200,000 companies with revenues over $10 million per year do not yet have this opportunity. Horsley believes that for these companies, tokenization can be a new and revolutionary tool that will open up new horizons for business.
