The return to the Japanese market is accompanied by the problems that the exchange faced in connection with the case brought against it by the regulators of a number of countries and publications in the media about the reduction of employees around the world, as well as the exit from the market of a number of other crypto exchanges. it was then reported that Binance acquired the Japanese exchange Sakura Exchange BitCoin (SEBC) at the end of 2022, which was a harbinger of its return to the country. after that, various information began to come in about the appearance of the exchange at the auction, first in November last, and then in August of this year.

At the moment, it is known that the company already closed all existing SEBC services at the end of May and instead launched a new service under the temporary name Binance Japan.
