US prosecutors investigating Do Kwon will request warrants to access his emails and accounts on the X social network (formerly known as Twitter), which is banned in Russia. It is expected that the collected data could reach several terabytes in size. Among the alleged materials are trading records and other information from crypto exchanges. All this data is planned to be used in the criminal case against the entrepreneur.

The investigation intends to analyze both Do Kwon's work and personal accounts, including his social media pages and the contents of four electronic devices. According to the prosecutor's office, this approach will allow obtaining key evidence necessary for the indictment.

Do Kwon remained active on social media even during the collapse of the Terra ecosystem in 2022. His last tweet was published a few days before his arrest in Montenegro in 2023.

After his arrest in Montenegro, Do Kwon was extradited to the United States on December 31, 2024. This process was accompanied by lengthy consideration of extradition requests from both the United States and South Korea. Ultimately, the Montenegrin authorities granted the American request.

In the United States, Do Kwon faces nine criminal charges, including fraud related to his crypto project Terra. American prosecutors intend to conduct a thorough analysis of all available information to ensure a successful outcome of the trial.
