The famous author of the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" Robert Kiyosaki said that in February 2025, the stock market will face an unprecedented collapse. This event, in his opinion, will become a catalyst for a massive redistribution of capital from traditional financial instruments such as stocks and bonds to cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin.

Kiyosaki first voiced this prediction in his book "Rich Dad's Prophecy", published back in 2013. The author argues that such crises are not only a challenge, but also an opportunity for those who are ready to adapt to new economic conditions.

"When markets collapse, prices for everything fall. Cars and houses can already be purchased at big discounts. But most importantly, huge sums will leave traditional financial markets and rush to Bitcoin,” he wrote on the X platform (former Twitter).

If Kiyosaki’s prediction comes true, Bitcoin could reach new price peaks. For example, Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, previously suggested that the value of BTC could rise to $700,000. At the moment, the cryptocurrency is trading at $99,000, despite a recent decline of 5%.

Kiyosaki also explained why Bitcoin, in his opinion, has a significant advantage over the US dollar. He cited two key economic principles that strengthen the position of the cryptocurrency:

1 Gresham’s Law: This principle states that “bad money drives out good.” According to Kiyosaki, this process has long been true for gold and silver, and now for Bitcoin. Together, these assets are becoming an alternative to the dollar, which he calls “fake money.”

2 Metcalfe’s Law: According to this law, the value of a network increases proportionally to the square of its number of participants. Kiyosaki emphasizes that Bitcoin's strength lies in its large, ever-growing user base.

The writer also compared the cryptocurrency to global networks such as Amazon and the bookstores through which his own book is distributed. "Even small players can achieve wealth if they harness the power of Metcalfe's Law," he noted.

Kiyosaki's opinion echoes the beliefs of many Bitcoin supporters who see it as a hedge against inflation. Similar arguments were made by former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes, who linked the cryptocurrency's rise in popularity to the rise in inflation risks.
