The partnership saw the introduction of a tokenized version of the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED), providing access to private credit investments via the blockchain.
ACRED, a fund with over $1.2 billion in assets under management, is expanding to multiple blockchain platforms, including Solana, Ethereum, Aptos, Avalanche, Polygon, and Ink, a layer-two blockchain developed by Kraken. The integration with Solana will be Securitize’s first foray into this ecosystem, simplifying the process of tokenizing RWAs. This move allows investors to move assets across different networks, improving accessibility and interoperability.
The company is using Wormhole, a platform that enables blockchain interoperability, to provide cross-chain functionality. This technology allows ACRED tokens to be easily transferred between different networks, expanding investment opportunities for both institutional and retail investors.
