The Open Network (TON) has entered into a partnership with the LayerZero protocol, which will allow users to make transactions between various blockchains, such as Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and in the future - more than a hundred more networks. This was reported by The Block.

The main goal of the cooperation is to eliminate the problem of insufficient liquidity, ensuring seamless interaction with large cryptocurrency projects.

“With this integration, TON gains sustainable liquidity and expands the availability of its ecosystem, creating favorable conditions for mass distribution,” the press release says.

Among the key participants using LayerZero solutions on TON are Tether, Ethena, and the Stargate cross-chain bridge.

TON Foundation COO Max Pertsovsky noted that this is a significant event for the development of the ecosystem, which improves the compatibility of blockchains and strengthens TON's position in the crypto industry.

"Now developers receive a full set of tools for creating decentralized applications aimed at the global market," Pertsovsky emphasized.

As reported by CoinDesk, at the first stage, TON will provide communication with 12 leading blockchains. Users will be able to transfer stablecoins between ecosystems via Stargate.

At the moment, Toncoin is trading at $3.79, ranking 18th in the CoinGecko rating with a market capitalization of $9.45 billion.

Earlier, in January, it became known that Telegram and the TON Foundation decided to use the TON network for all built-in Web3 applications.
