However, Bybit made it clear that it has no plans to list the token, which has caused discontent among the Pi Network community. Some users said that the exchange is losing its influence in the industry.
There were rumors that Bybit itself tried to list Pi Network but was rejected. However, the platform’s CEO Ben Zhou has strongly denied these claims. In response to criticism, he recalled the warning from Chinese law enforcement agencies, which in 2023 called Pi Network a scam project targeting the elderly. That same year, Vietnamese authorities launched their own investigation into the platform.
In addition, Zhou emphasized that Bybit never applied to list Pi Network, calling such claims groundless. He called on the project team to publicly respond to the fraud allegations, rather than attack those who voice criticism.
"If you are an honest project, you should comment on the statements of law enforcement. Instead, you resort to baseless attacks on our exchange. Yes, I still think you are scammers, and Bybit will not list such projects," Zhou wrote on X's social media.
