The launch of Time.fun on the Solana network has attracted the attention of the crypto community. The project offers an innovative approach to interacting with celebrities by allowing users to buy tokenized minutes of communication. The cost of such minutes is determined on the open market, and the service itself is similar to the FriendTech platform that became popular last year. However, the key difference with Time.fun is its focus on individual interactions, rather than group chats.

The creator of the project, known under the nickname Kawz, is convinced that the concept of tokenized time can go beyond communication. In his opinion, this mechanism can become the basis for creating a wider range of services. For example, he proposed the idea of a recruiting platform, where users can take short positions on candidates as risk insurance.

Kawz noted that the main task at the current stage is to make Time.fun successful before expanding its use. In the long term, the developers want to turn tokenized time into a new asset class that will allow people to own, exchange, and use it in various products and services. The possibility of issuing their own token, which will be able to unite the ecosystem of platforms using tokenized minutes, is also being considered.

The Time.fun platform allows users not only to buy and sell minutes, but also to exchange them through a bonding curve mechanism similar to those used on decentralized exchanges. At the same time, a 2% commission is charged on each transaction, which is distributed between the developers, the time owner, the recipient, and the prize pool. Funds from the fund will be distributed monthly among active users.

If a certain celebrity gains enough liquidity, their tokenized minutes can be listed on the Raydium decentralized exchange, part of the Solana ecosystem. In addition, influencers will be able to auction off specific services, such as 30-minute calls or in-person meetings. These lots are priced in minutes, giving active users an advantage when participating in bidding.

It is worth noting that Time.fun has previously launched on the second-tier Ethereum-based Base network. There, the project received positive reviews and trading volume exceeded $2 million. Now, with the integration into Solana, the platform aims to expand its influence and attract new users.
