In March 2024, Bitget CEO Gracie Chen presented the Blockchain4Her initiative at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), highlighting the importance of inclusivity and equality in the blockchain space. Participation in this event confirmed Bitget’s influence on the international stage and its commitment to creating a more diverse and accessible industry.

To further strengthen the impact of the program, Bitget launched the Blockchain4Her Ambassador initiative, attracting prominent female leaders in the crypto community. Ambassadors include Tess Ventures founder Tess Hau, Hacken co-founder Eugenia Brochevant, and Morph CEO Cecilia Xue. The program creates a space for women in Web3 to learn and grow, drawing on the experiences of successful entrepreneurs.

In September 2024, the company took part in the SheFi Summit in Singapore, which brought together hundreds of experts from all over the world. During the summit, Bitget presented the Blockchain4Her Awards for the first time, recognizing the achievements of five outstanding women in the industry. Particular attention was paid to Southeast Asia, where a regional version of the awards was held - Southeast Asia Blockchain4Her Awards.

“We believe that diversity fosters innovation. Blockchain4Her is not just an initiative, but a movement that unites women, provides them with education, mentorship, and opportunities to participate in Web3. Inclusivity is the key to the future of blockchain, and we are shaping it together,” said Bitget CEO Gracie Chen.

In 2024, Bitget also launched the Pitch n Slay program to support female entrepreneurs by providing funding to promising startups. The final took place in November 2024 in Bangkok, where women's projects competed for a $100,000 prize fund from Foresight Ventures.

In a year of operation, Blockchain4Her has allocated $50,000 to support women's initiatives, nine participants were awarded Blockchain4Her Awards, and more than 1,000 women took part in ten international events.

In the run-up to International Women's Day, Bitget unveiled the Blockchain4Her (B4H) symbolic badge, inspired by the Romanian tradition of Mǎrțișor. The red and white thread, symbolizing spring and renewal, echoes the program's mission - to create new opportunities for women in blockchain.

In addition, the company announced the launch of the Blockchain4Her mentorship program, which will connect aspiring professionals with experienced mentors. Mentors will include B4H ambassadors and Blockchain4Her Awards winners.

In 2025, Bitget will continue to support women in blockchain by investing in education, mentorship, and partnerships. The company aims to create an inclusive Web3 ecosystem where women can develop their ideas, innovate and become industry leaders.
