In response to the incident, the Safe (Wallet) team carried out a complete reboot of the infrastructure, including updating servers and replacing credentials. They also temporarily disabled support for hardware wallets to reduce potential risks. Customers were offered additional tools for verifying transaction hashes.
Safe (Wallet) called on Web3 companies to jointly act in the field of cybersecurity, noting that only a coordinated effort will help protect the industry from attacks by organized hacker groups receiving funding from government agencies.
