BitBoy Crypto creator arrested for threatening a judge and violating judicial order

According to the Cobb County (Georgia) police, Armstrong repeatedly sent emails to the county's Supreme Court judge, Kimberly Childs, that were offensive or threatening in nature. Law enforcement officials note that the blogger's actions qualify as a violation of the law and undermine the authority of the judicial system.
Armstrong himself publicly admitted that he corresponded with the judge, and reported this in posts on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on March 21. According to him, these messages were the basis for the warrant for his arrest. He also claimed that Judge Childs had deleted her social media profiles after his posts were made public.
This is not the first controversial episode in Armstrong’s biography. He has regularly been the target of criticism in the crypto community for his aggressive statements and controversial statements. In one of his most recent, he claimed that he “single-handedly saved the Cardano project,” which he said was in decline. He previously called the blockchain “dying” and claimed that his support was crucial in maintaining interest in the ecosystem.
Armstrong has also made headlines in the past for conflicts with other influential figures in the crypto space and accusations of promoting questionable tokens. His arrest is yet another blow to the reputation of one of the most famous crypto vloggers in the United States.
