Telegram users in the US will soon have access to the built-in crypto wallet Wallet, according to Andrey Rogozov, CEO of The Open Platform (TOP). The service is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025.
This step is part of the TON Foundation’s strategic plan to expand its activities in the US. The organization seeks to gain a foothold in a market where competition among crypto platforms is particularly high, but at the same time there is active demand for innovative solutions in the field of Web3.
Former TON Foundation President Steve Yun previously noted that despite certain difficulties, the future of the Open Network blockchain looks optimistic. He emphasized that TON’s popularity has grown rapidly due to the introduction of mini-apps, including Tap-to-Earn games, which allow users to earn while interacting with the platform.
Among the latest updates is the launch of a new version of the Wallet, which TOP announced in March. The updated version includes the Trade and Earn sections, expanding the platform's functionality and offering users more diverse tools for working with cryptocurrency and generating income.
Amid this news, the digital currency Toncoin is also showing positive dynamics. According to CoinGecko, its rate has grown by 3.1% over the past 24 hours and reached $3.14.
Thus, the launch of Wallet in the US reflects not only the confident development of the project, but also the growing interest in TON as a whole. The TON Foundation is betting on innovation, user experience, and active international promotion, making it one of the most notable blockchain initiatives today.
