Cronos has announced the release of its second series of NFT lands, called Crypto.com Land — Fractured Fate, scheduled for April. The collection will consist of 25,000 digital plots, distributed across seven unique regions. Each plot has its own unique design, adding visual and strategic diversity to the project’s virtual landscape.
In addition, Cronos plans to hold an airdrop to celebrate the release, in which users will be able to receive LION tokens. These tokens are expected to become part of the future ecosystem associated with Fractured Fate and will be used for various interactions within the platform.
The Cronos network, which underlies the project, is a decentralized, open-source blockchain. It was developed by Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency payments, trading, and financial services company. One of the key goals of Cronos is to create an environment where developers can migrate dApps and assets from other blockchains at a low cost and with high speed.
Using the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Cronos supports compatibility with applications already built on Ethereum. This simplifies the integration process and expands the capabilities of users who want to try out new formats of interaction in the Web3 space.
The native token of the network is CRO - it is used to pay for transactions, as well as a means of accessing various features of decentralized applications on the platform.
With the release of Fractured Fate, Cronos continues to strengthen its position in the NFT and metaverse sector, creating new formats of user engagement and stimulating activity within its blockchain ecosystem.
