Binance and the Kyrgyz authorities have agreed on the joint development of digital assets

Binance continues to expand its influence in Central Asia: the company has entered into a strategic agreement with the government of Kyrgyzstan to develop digital financial instruments. The signing of the memorandum of understanding took place at the first meeting of the Council on Digital Assets, which was personally attended by the country's President Sadyr Japarov.
The purpose of this agreement is to create a sustainable and long-term basis for the development of cryptocurrency infrastructure in the country. The authorities and representatives of Binance plan to promote innovative solutions in the field of digital assets and blockchain, which can become a driver of economic growth in Kyrgyzstan.
One of the key areas of interaction will be the implementation of the Binance Pay payment system. This initiative is aimed at simplifying payments for tourists, which should increase the attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan as a tourist destination. In addition, we are talking about creating conditions for cross-border payments between the countries of Central Asia and the EAEU members, which is also of strategic importance.
Significant attention will be paid to training and education in the field of cryptocurrencies. Binance Academy will launch a number of educational programs aimed at government officials, representatives of the financial sector, as well as a wide audience. These initiatives are aimed at increasing the level of knowledge about the risks and opportunities associated with digital assets, as well as strengthening the foundations of financial literacy and developing the Web 3.0 ecosystem in the country.
Recall that in April of this year, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao was appointed an adviser to the government of Kyrgyzstan on cryptocurrencies. Around the same time, President Japarov signed amendments to the Law "On the National Bank", paving the way for testing the national digital currency.
Thus, the partnership between Binance and the Kyrgyz authorities can be an important step towards the digital transformation of the country's economy and integration into the global cryptocurrency community.
