The Bhutanese government, in collaboration with Binance Pay, has launched a project called One Wallet, One Journey, aimed at simplifying payments for tourist services using digital assets. Thanks to this innovation, travelers will be able to use cryptocurrency to book flights, pay for visas, accommodation, transport, and excursions around the country.

The technical basis of the system is provided by integration with Binance Pay, a mobile solution that allows users to make fast and secure transactions. All payments from foreign visitors will be automatically converted into ngultrum, the national currency of Bhutan, which will save tourists from having to exchange currencies and make payments easier for local suppliers.

A special role in this project is played by DK Bank, the country's first digital bank, which provides support for the entire payment infrastructure. This means that cryptocurrency transactions will be available throughout Bhutan, regardless of the location of the tourist or business.

The initiative reflects the overall commitment of the Bhutanese government to incorporate advanced technologies into the economy and tourism sector. Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has previously spoken about the potential of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, calling on world governments to actively develop mining as a tool for economic growth.

The new crypto payment system is an important step in this direction: it combines convenience, security, and technological innovation to make Bhutan an attractive destination for digitally savvy tourists.
