Bybit has unveiled the global launch of its new payment system — Bybit Pay. After successful testing in Brazil, the solution has been available to all verified users of the platform since January 2025. According to the company, the innovation is aimed at simplifying daily financial transactions with cryptocurrencies.
The system has already proven its effectiveness: thousands of participants of the Web Summit Rio conference were able to personally test instant transfers at the company's stand. Now more than 70 million users around the world have access to the new functionality through a mobile application.
Bybit representatives emphasize that their solution eliminates the need for traditional banking intermediaries and physical payment cards. All that is needed is a smartphone or other mobile device.
At the time of publication, Bybit Pay already supports transfers and receipt of funds in 15 popular cryptocurrencies, including BTC, USDT, ETH, XRP, USDC, BNB, MNT, TON and others. The platform actively interacts with both online stores and physical points of sale.
The Send and Receive functions have become important components of the system:
- Bybit Pay Send allows you to send digital assets instantly, knowing only the email, phone number or UID of the user on the platform;
- Bybit Pay Receive provides the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments via a personalized QR code, where you can specify the amount and the preferred coin for crediting.
The service acts as a digital wallet with support for both cryptocurrency and fiat assets. Particular attention is paid to security - all transactions are protected by on-chain encryption, which excludes access to data by third parties.
Since the global launch, more than 40 thousand transactions have been recorded. All transfers are processed instantly, making the service convenient for both regular users and business clients.
In addition, the company has launched the Bybit Send & Earn campaign, in which users can receive a share of the prize pool of 100,000 USDT. The campaign will last until May 30 and is available to all verified platform participants.
According to Krista Chan, Head of Marketing for Bybit Payments, the main goal of the service is to give people around the world the opportunity to manage their finances without restrictions, even if they do not have access to banking services.
Up-to-date information and terms of use of the service can be found on the official Bybit Pay page.
