From June 13 to 15, Kyiv will host the ETHKyiv 2025 technology event, which will feature representatives of the Ethereum Foundation, one of the key organizations in the blockchain community. The hackathon will take place on the territory of Creative State of Arsenal and will be the central event of Ukrainian Blockchain Week.
As reported by the organizers from Ethereum Ukraine, Tomasz K. Stanczak, who was appointed Co-CEO of the Ethereum Foundation in March of this year, is among the invited guests. His arrival in the organization coincided with a difficult period in the life of the Ethereum ecosystem, which is experiencing pressure from competing blockchains, market instability, and questions about the further development of Layer-2 solutions.
Before joining the Ethereum Foundation, Stanczak spent over a decade in the financial industry. He served as vice president of FX eTrading at Citi Bank and as an analyst at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
In addition to Stanczak, ETHKyiv 2025 speakers include Josh Rudolph, a product manager and researcher at the Ethereum Foundation. Prior to his current role, he worked at Intel and Slack, and is now focused on developing key components of the Ethereum protocol.
Another invited expert is Leona Hioki, CEO and co-founder of the INTMAX project. He has a solid background in cryptography and cybersecurity, and is also a laureate of the Japanese government program IPA Security Camp.
ETHKyiv 2025 will bring together specialists from a variety of fields - from developers to marketers and designers - to jointly create innovative products based on blockchain technologies. The event program includes mentoring sessions, training workshops, networking and the opportunity to receive grant support.
Registration for the hackathon is already open and available through the official website of the event.
