USD1, a stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial in March 2025, has managed to reach a significant level of capitalization in a short period of time. Its market value exceeded the $2.1 billion mark in just two months after its launch. This asset is pegged to the US dollar and is fully backed by assets: short-term government bonds, cash and their equivalents. The storage is managed by BitGo Prime, and the CCIP solution from Chainlink ensures interoperability between the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks.

One of the key factors in the rapid growth was the company's initiative to stimulate user interest - on June 4, World Liberty Financial held an airdrop for 85,000 early stage participants, crediting each with $47. This step significantly increased the level of audience engagement and allowed the project to outpace such well-known stablecoins as USDT, USDC and FRAX in terms of growth in the first months of their existence.

The USD1 project is focused mainly on institutional investors and focuses on full compliance with regulatory requirements. The company pays special attention to the safety of assets and transparency of its activities: assets are in regulated storage, and monthly reports confirm their availability. A high level of liquidity makes USD1 an attractive tool for traders working with various strategies.

According to analysts, the total capitalization of the stablecoin market is currently about $252 billion. Experts suggest that by the end of 2025, this figure may grow to $400 billion. Today, stablecoins account for about 88% of the total volume of cryptocurrency transactions, which emphasizes their key role in the digital financial system.

Thus, USD1 demonstrates significant progress due to its focus on transparency, security and active user acquisition. This confirms the growing demand for stablecoins amid increasing interest in digital assets from both private and institutional investors.
