Binance Boosts Transparency with New Token Valuation Features

Binance has introduced two new tools to its platform — Locked Addresses and Concentration Indicator — which are aimed at increasing the transparency of crypto assets. These features are already available both on the exchange’s website and in the mobile app in the “Information” tab on each token page.
The Locked Addresses tool allows users to track what portion of a project’s tokens are frozen during the vesting period. To get detailed information about such addresses, just hover over the field indicating the number of tokens in circulation. This is especially useful for assessing the liquidity of an asset and possible pressure from unlocked tokens in the future.
The Concentration Indicator, in turn, shows how evenly the tokens are distributed among holders. The assessment is formed on the basis of a special formula that takes into account data both inside and outside Binance. The result is expressed as a numerical value from 0 to 100. The higher the indicator, the higher the probability of sharp price fluctuations, since large owners can have a significant influence on the market. A low level, on the contrary, indicates a more stable distribution and reduced volatility risks.
Binance co-founder Yi He noted that users need more transparency and accessible tools for analyzing assets. According to her, the exchange does not just publish more information, but also strives to set new standards of openness in the crypto market.
The new features are a logical continuation of Binance's course on improving the user experience and providing up-to-date analytical data. Previously, the exchange integrated information from CoinMarketCap to show token unlock charts, and also opened access to the financial statements of projects listed on the platform.
It is worth noting that in June 2025, Binance's share of the spot trading market reached record levels over the past year, which emphasizes the stable interest of traders in the platform and its innovations.
