On July 18, the global capitalization of all cryptocurrencies exceeded the $4 trillion mark, which almost equalized the industry with the market value of the giant Nvidia, currently estimated at about $4.2 trillion. The main impetus for growth was given by the increase in quotes of key coins - Bitcoin strengthened to $119,000, and Ethereum exceeded the $3,500 mark. Investments by companies in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) also played an important role, supporting the overall inflow of capital.

A significant factor was the fact that the US House of Representatives approved three new laws aimed at changing the regulation of the cryptocurrency sector. Thanks to these decisions, the inflow of institutional money into ETFs for digital assets has noticeably accelerated.

According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin accounted for 61% of the entire market at the time of its new all-time high, despite a slight decline of 0.27% over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the turnover of digital assets trading amounted to more than $260 billion, which indicates high investor activity.

A report from SoSoValue says that over the week, the net inflow into Bitcoin-focused ETFs reached $3 billion, while Ethereum-focused funds attracted another $1 billion. In total, over the past seven days, total investments in spot crypto ETFs have exceeded $54 billion with an average daily turnover of about $3.7 billion.

Experts at CryptoQuant are optimistic and predict that Bitcoin's capitalization may exceed $5 trillion. Analysts say that one of the key growth drivers is President Donald Trump's initiative, which involves opening the American pension market to investments in cryptocurrencies.

Earlier, representatives of Binance, Bitwise and Standard Chartered also expressed confidence that in the next ten years, the value of Bitcoin will steadily grow and may reach the range from $200,000 to $500,000. They consider the further growth of institutional investments to be the main factor in this scenario.

Thus, the cryptocurrency market continues to strengthen its position and increasingly competes with the world's largest companies in terms of capitalization. Experts note that further dynamics will depend on macroeconomic conditions, the interest of institutional investors and US regulatory policy.
