Analyst Willy Wu asked the Grok neural network, developed by Elon Musk's company, which crypto asset would be the most profitable for investment in the long term. At the same time, he clarified that the system should make a conclusion based on its own reasoning and then explain its choice.
In the first answer, Grok named Bitcoin, noting that, according to forecasts of individual analysts, its value could reach $1 million by 2035. Among the factors of possible growth, the AI highlighted the limited issue of coins, interest from institutional investors, and the attractiveness of the asset as a means of protection against inflation amid changes in the global economy.
Wu asked the neural network to ignore the opinions of experts and analyze the situation again on its own. In the second answer, Grok again stopped at the first cryptocurrency, but already gave its own justification. According to his estimates, the growth of Bitcoin in the coming years will be supported by a high level of public debt and ongoing inflation, which will undermine the value of traditional currencies.
The AI suggested that if interest from large institutions and states forming cryptocurrency reserves continues, the price of the first cryptocurrency could increase 10-15 times compared to the current level. Grok called this scenario the most likely on the horizon of the next decade.
Willy Woo himself previously spoke more reservedly. He predicted that in the medium term, Bitcoin will show about 8% annual growth, which is approximately 3% of global GDP. However, he noted that long-term estimates similar to those given by the AI also have a right to exist, especially in the context of economic uncertainty and instability of traditional financial markets.
Thus, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence came to the same conclusion twice, even after the restriction in the form of a ban on relying on other people's opinions. For Grok, Bitcoin remains the leading candidate for the title of the most promising crypto asset of the coming years, thanks to its scarcity, its growing status as digital “gold,” and its growing role in the global financial system.
