A well-known entrepreneur and founder of Pomp Investments, Anthony Pompliano, shared his expectations regarding the Bitcoin rate in September. According to him, the return of traders and investors after the summer lull could become a catalyst for new growth. Historical trends of autumn market recovery are pushing many participants to make early purchases of cryptocurrency.
Pompliano noted that large players have already begun to increase their positions in anticipation of strong Bitcoin results in the fourth quarter of 2025. According to him, institutional investors' interest in digital assets is gradually increasing, and the seasonal factor plays an additional role.
A significant driver of the rate movement, according to the businessman, could be the meeting of the US Federal Reserve System scheduled for September 17. A probable reduction in the interest rate will contribute to the growth of risky assets, including cryptocurrencies. Low borrowing costs make it easier to hold investments that do not generate immediate returns, making Bitcoin more attractive to long-term holders.
At the same time, Pompliano cautiously commented on forecasts that Bitcoin will reach $1 million by the end of the current four-year cycle. He emphasized that although this level will not be overcome in the near future, the cryptocurrency is still capable of reaching this price in the long term. He named a combination of seasonal growth, the return of market activity and the influx of new capital as the main condition for the next large-scale rally.
Earlier, the investor drew attention to the increasing competition between countries and governments for the accumulation of Bitcoin. In his opinion, the reason for the global "race for cryptocurrency" is the weakening of the US dollar. He is confident that states consider digital gold as a means of protection against inflation risks and instability of the global financial system.
September could therefore be a big month for Bitcoin, with renewed investor interest, the Fed's pending decision, and favorable seasonal factors all setting the stage for a move higher. Pompliano emphasizes that even with a cautious view of the short-term outlook, the strategic outlook for the cryptocurrency remains positive.
