Strategy co-founder and head Michael Saylor has entered the prestigious Bloomberg Billionaire 500 list, taking 491st place. His capital has increased by almost a billion dollars in 2025, which corresponds to an increase of 15.8%, and has reached $7.37 billion. The main source of growth was the shares of his own company, which have risen in price by almost 12% since the beginning of the year, according to Google Finance.
According to Bloomberg, approximately $650 million of Saylor's fortune is in liquid assets, and the remaining $6.72 billion is associated with Strategy shares. This allowed him to join the ranks of crypto billionaires in the ranking. Among them are Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong with $12.8 billion and 234th place, as well as Binance founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, whose fortune is estimated at $44.5 billion and secured him the 40th position.
Strategy is known for its aggressive policy of accumulating bitcoin. To date, the company owns approximately 636,505 BTC with a total value of about $70 billion, which is 3.42% of the total volume of the first cryptocurrency. At the same time, company representatives claim that such purchases do not put pressure on the market. As corporate treasurer Shirish Jajodia noted, the purchase strategy is designed in such a way as not to affect the market price.
Recent events have also increased attention to Strategy. In early September, it became known that the company qualified for inclusion in the S&P 500 index, but ultimately did not get into it, despite meeting key criteria. The management hoped to make Strategy the first company directly related to bitcoin in the structure of this index.
The second quarter of 2025 was one of the most successful for the company, with its unrealized profit exceeding $14 billion. This result strengthened Strategy’s position in the market and made Saylor one of the key figures in the crypto industry.
Thus, the growth of Michael Saylor’s fortune reflects not only the dynamics of Strategy shares, but also the continuing influence of Bitcoin on the global financial landscape. His inclusion in the Bloomberg Billionaire 500 rating underscores the importance of the crypto sector in the global economy and confirms Strategy’s leadership position among public companies owning digital assets.
