Pi Network Token Stuck in a Sideways Movement: Is PI Ready for a Sharp Move?

Since August 25, Pi Network has been holding between the resistance level of $0.3469 and the support level of $0.3391. Buyers' attempts to push the price higher at the end of August failed, and the market remained without a clear direction. This indicates a balance of power between bulls and bears with extremely low volatility.
One of the signs of calm was the Relative Strength Index (RSI), which has been stable since the beginning of September. At the moment, it is 44.52, which emphasizes the lack of dominance of any side.
This dynamic suggests that the market is lacking momentum and is moving in a waiting mode. Until new factors appear that can change the balance, the PI price will most likely continue to fluctuate within the established range.
Bollinger bands, which are gradually narrowing, became additional confirmation of the decrease in volatility. This signals the attenuation of fluctuations and the probable continuation of the sideways trend. Usually, such periods precede a sharp jump in quotes in one direction or another, when a strong catalyst enters the market.
Historically, after calm phases, cryptocurrencies make impressive movements. For PI, this means the risk of both growth and decline depending on the change in investor sentiment.
If demand increases, the token may break through the resistance of $0.3469 and rush to $0.3587. This will be a signal of increased bullish sentiment and the possible formation of an upward trend.
However, if the support in the $0.3391 region is broken, the price risks falling to $0.3220, the nearest historical minimum. Such a scenario will confirm the weakness of buyers and increased pressure from sellers.
At the moment, the PI token is in a state of uncertainty, when the market is waiting for an external push. The range compression and the decrease in volatility only increase the probability of a strong move. The only question is whether the price will turn up or down.
