The Hyperliquid (HYPE) token has seen rapid growth in recent trading, reaching a record high of $59.39. Its value has increased by 6.65% in the past 24 hours and by approximately 6% over the past week. According to CoinMarketCap, trading volume for the cryptocurrency has grown by 50% to approximately $467 million, indicating strong interest from market participants.
The situation was noticed by analysts at Nansen, who noted a large trade by one trader. He opened a long position worth $30.3 million using 3x leverage. At press time, his unrealized profit was approaching $1.39 million, and he continued to increase his investment, creating additional upward pressure on the market.
The growing interest in the token is explained not only by the activity of individual traders but also by the popularity of the Hyperliquid platform itself. Currently, its share of global trading volumes reaches 14% of Binance's, making it a prominent player in the crypto market.
HYPE has also attracted interest from prominent industry figures. BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes publicly endorsed the token, describing its new price achievements as "a Hype for all time." He previously stated that HYPE has the potential to grow more than 100-fold due to the expansion of the stablecoin market. Trader James Wynn, known for his aggressive trading style, has also expressed interest in the project.
Thus, HYPE's growth is the result of a combination of several factors: an influx of new investors, significant trading volumes, and the trust of established crypto market participants.
