Binance Launches Annual The Blockchain 100 Award for Web3 Leaders

Binance, the largest crypto exchange, has unveiled The Blockchain 100 initiative—a program aimed at recognizing individuals and teams whose work has significantly impacted the development of the blockchain industry. Organizers note that the award will be presented to content creators, researchers, and community leaders who help strengthen and expand the crypto ecosystem.
The program covers seven key categories. These include Industry Advocate, which features entrepreneurs and project founders actively promoting Web3; Independent Researcher, for analysts and researchers; Trader, for specialists in trading strategies and market forecasts; Community Builder, for DAO and online community leaders; Video and Live Creator, for video content creators and streamers; Crypto Press, for media and journalists covering blockchain; and finally, Rising Star, which will showcase emerging creators with potential for growth.
According to Binance representatives, the selection process is as open as possible: any community is welcome to participate. The stages are as follows:
- Applications are open from September 25 to October 12, 2025;
- Users will be able to vote on Binance Square from October 15 to 26, with verified accounts entitled to cast one vote per category daily;
- The winners will be announced on November 3;
- A gala ceremony will be held on December 3 as part of Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. Winners will not only receive awards but also have the opportunity to pursue additional professional development opportunities.
Binance's Head of Marketing, Rachel Conlan, emphasized that the crypto industry has always been built on the enthusiasm and participation of the community. According to her, The Blockchain 100 award is a symbol of appreciation to those who have invested years in shaping and strengthening the ecosystem. Conlan noted that achieving mass adoption of cryptocurrencies is impossible without concerted efforts, and it is precisely initiatives like these that help stimulate industry growth.
