Telegram's Cryptocurrency Wallet: How to Use It

In a groundbreaking move, the messaging giant Telegram has introduced a cryptocurrency wallet for its users. This wallet was developed in collaboration with the TON team and is now easily accessible from the main menu of the Telegram app. However, it's important to note that only registered users can take advantage of this feature.
Using the Telegram Cryptocurrency Wallet
To access the cryptocurrency wallet, simply tap on the "wallet" section within the app. You can expand it to full-screen mode by pulling down on the emerging curtain.
Exploring the Wallet
The wallet's main menu displays the user's balance in the specified currency. From here, users can perform various operations:
1. Buy cryptocurrency (located to the right of the balance)
2. Send cryptocurrency
3. Exchange cryptocurrency
4. Sell cryptocurrency
By default, the app displays the balance in the TON cryptocurrency, followed by a summary of other assets like Bitcoin and USDT. If you need assistance with the wallet, there is a support service accessible through the settings.
Wallet Configuration Options
Within the "settings" section, users can select their preferred currency for balance display, set the language for the bot, and configure other parameters.
Verification Levels and Limits
The wallet offers different verification levels and associated transaction limits. The default level allows users to handle transactions up to €15,000 per day, which also applies to P2P purchases. The next level, "Plus," permits incoming transactions of up to €100,000 per day, with the same limit for P2P purchases. To achieve this level, users must complete identity verification by providing the necessary documentation.
The highest level, "Maxi," grants unlimited incoming transactions and P2P purchases. However, there are still restrictions on card purchases, capped at €35,000 per month. This level requires address verification.
Buying Cryptocurrency through the Wallet
Purchasing cryptocurrency through the Telegram wallet is possible either with a credit card or via the P2P platform. Users also have access to an "external wallet" section, allowing them to top up their accounts by transferring cryptocurrency from other wallets.
