On September 8, the defense of the former head of FTX demanded his release pending trial, citing the lack of adequate Internet connection in prison.

In August, a federal judge revoked SBF's bail and remanded him until his next hearing in the case, scheduled for October.

“The record shows that the district court considered all relevant factors, including Defendant-Appellant's conduct over time, which required repeated increases in his prison conditions,” the document states.

Recently, a judge granted the prosecutor's request to block each of the expert witnesses proposed by SBF. The decision also denied the lawyers' request to bar a witness called by the government from testifying.

The defense may make a new attempt to call individuals from this list. But representatives of the Ministry of Justice will be able to object again, according to the resolution.

Bankman-Fried was charged with 13 felonies. Prosecutors later dropped charges of financing certain politicians as part of a deal with the defense. The FTX founder pleaded not guilty to any of the charges, including bribing a Chinese official.
