USDC Now Available on the Polygon PoS Mainnet

Researchers, developers, investors, and dApp users can now access USDC liquidity worth 25 billion dollars without the need for cross-chain bridges. On November 10, 2023, Circle will cease support for the deposit and withdrawal of bridged USDC.e on Polygon PoS for Circle Mint and its API services. After this date, only native USDC will be supported. Representatives from Circle are urging Polygon dApp clients not to deposit USDC.e after November 10, as funds may be lost permanently.
Advancing the Polygon Ecosystem
The Circle team emphasizes that launching USDC on the Polygon network with proof of stake is of paramount importance to the protocol's ecosystem. Starting from October 10, the cross-blockchain CCTP protocol from Circle will be available to Arbitrum (ARB) developers. Thanks to the Wormhole Connect technology, Arbitrum dApp developers can integrate support for the USDC stablecoin into their protocols.
