Enthusiasts have introduced a new standard in the Bitcoin blockchain to reduce fees for issuing non-fungible tokens (NFTs). A platform for launching NFT tokens based on the Bitcoin network called Luminex has introduced a new standard that reduces fees by 90%. The new BRC-69 standard requires only one line of text to issue an NFT, without inserting an image into the Bitcoin blockchain. The text is automatically converted to an image with a unique serial number of the Satoshi standard (ordinal).

The office of the Binance crypto exchange in Australia was searched due to an ASIC investigation. The regulator wants to know about the derivative services provided by Binance Australia. In April, ASIC revoked Binance Australia's derivatives license due to additional risks to consumers.

Sanctions against the Tornado Cash mixer did not prevent cybercriminals from laundering cryptocurrency through it. As of the end of June, more than 165,000 ETH (approximately $285 million) have been deposited into Tornado Cash, and more than 142,340 ETH (approximately $246 million) have been withdrawn. Tornado Cash maintains a large lead in terms of the volume of laundered cryptocurrency among other mixers. Activity around Tornado Cash fell, but sanctions did not "bury" the mixer.
