The Unauthorized Withdrawal
X-explore revealed that funds, a fraction of what was stolen from Kronos Research, were moved from Binance, totaling more than $22 million. Researchers shared this revelation on Twitter, highlighting the movement of these assets through various exchanges, ultimately reaching the hackers through Kronos Research. Interestingly, the funds did not directly go to the hackers, suggesting a diversionary tactic.

Recommended Measures
In response, experts advised platform users to regularly review authorized withdrawal address lists, minimizing their quantity for increased security. Additionally, they suggested platform administrators conduct routine checks, scanning the chain data for whitelisted user addresses. Users should also be warned about potential risks associated with wallets inactive for extended periods, prompting the removal of such wallets to avert potential problems.

Security Measures Undertaken
Previously, Kronos Research's liquidity provider reported unauthorized access to certain API keys, leading to the temporary suspension of all transactions. WOO Network management assured users of the freezing and subsequent unfreezing of transfers to ensure user security. Notably, popular researcher ZachXBT estimated losses exceeding $25 million or 12,800 ETH.
