The Impressive Collection
Magic Eden's announcement unveils a collection featuring 250 tokenized Pokémon cards on the blockchain. Each NFT comes with a physical card, making it redeemable. The minting price for these NFTs is set at 5.5 SOL.
Among the standout cards, collectors are eyeing the Luigi Pikachu BGS 9.5 № 2016 from the Pokemon XY series and the vintage Pokemon Japan Vending Masaki Promo Holo Gengar #94 from 1999, rated PSA 9 Mint.
Fans of the Diamond & Pearl series will delight in the Suicune-Holo 2007 card, numbered 19 and rated PSA 10. Rounding off the list of highlights is the classic Pokemon Japan Fossil Holo Gengar #94 from 1997, rated PSA 10 Gem Mint.

Simplified Minting Process
To streamline the second sale, Magic Eden has taken proactive steps. The platform introduces special passes for specific communities in the initial minting phase called the "first minting phase."
Entry requirements for this early access phase vary depending on the project. Magic Eden is open to community suggestions, seeking input for granting access to stage 1 for other projects.
Even after the initial minting phase concludes, a subsequent public phase is ensured. This ensures that even those not part of the specially designated communities can acquire these coveted NFTs.

A Dash of Nostalgia
Real-world assets (RWA) are gaining traction in the digital realm, and Pokémon cards stand as one of the most successful applications. Courtyard initially introduced this concept in September with a collection that saw a minimum 10x price surge.
Following Courtyard's success, Magic Eden joined the initiative, launching its first Pokémon card sale. The collection caused a surge in minting traffic as investors vied for two rare Charizard cards and other valuable pieces.
For Pokémon enthusiasts and NFT collectors, this sale offers another chance to blend childhood nostalgia with cutting-edge digital tech. Excitement grows as the sale date approaches.
