Arthur Hayes, the former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, has given a nod of approval to Solana (SOL) by stating his wish for the token to hit the $100 mark by the upcoming weekend. In a social media post, Hayes encouraged the crypto community, saying, "Can we make $SOL reach $100? Let's do it, friends." His endorsement of Solana's potential price surge has sparked optimism among SOL enthusiasts.
Addressing the enthusiastic response from Solana supporters, Hayes shrugged off any personal bias, saying, "I'm just a trader, buddy. I don't care. If it's moving, I'm trading it." Despite his initial reservations about Solana, Hayes revealed that he had purchased some of the coins when their value recently started to rise.
The beginning of the fourth quarter of 2023 has witnessed a rapid increase in the value of Solana, the cryptocurrency that aims to challenge Ethereum's dominance. Since hitting a low of $8, the price of SOL has surged by over 395%.
Analysts at the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, have noted a swift recovery in the digital currency market, particularly highlighting the explosive growth of SOL throughout November.
