In a recent interview on Fox Business, Jamie Dimon, the CEO of the prominent investment bank JP Morgan, reiterated his negative stance on cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin. He argued that Bitcoin has no intrinsic value, even as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the launch of Bitcoin spot ETFs by BlackRock and other companies.

Dimon's skepticism towards Bitcoin comes as trading for the first cryptocurrency within such funds kicks off, following the SEC's approval.

"I'm not concerned about what other people do with Bitcoin. However, the reality is that BTC is used for trading by individuals, drug transactions, tax evasion, and terrorism financing. Yet, when it comes to Bitcoin speculation itself, there is no real value; it's not a tangible asset," Dimon emphasized.

Back in early December, Dimon went further, suggesting that if he were in the U.S. government's position, he would completely restrict access to Bitcoin and "shut it down."
