Cathie Wood, the CEO of ARK Invest, has made headlines by revealing the extent of her investments in Bitcoin. In an interview with Schwab Network, Wood disclosed that a substantial portion of her financial portfolio is tied to innovations, including cryptocurrencies.

She emphasized that her bold investment strategy is backed by the deep research conducted by her company. Excluding her stakes in ARK Invest and real estate, Wood estimated that Bitcoin constitutes "at least 25%" of her net worth.

As of September 2023, Wood's wealth was estimated at approximately $140 million, though other media outlets have reported figures ranging from $250 million to $300 million.

Interestingly, the world's richest person, Elon Musk, admitted to owning primarily a "large amount of Dogecoin" when it comes to cryptocurrencies. However, he mentioned that SpaceX, the private company he founded with a 54% ownership stake, holds some Bitcoin, albeit not a significant amount.

Tesla, also founded by Musk, invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in February 2021 but later sold a substantial portion of its holdings, making a profit of $936 million.

It's worth noting that among private companies, MicroStrategy holds the largest amount of Bitcoin, with reserves totaling 189,150 BTC, equivalent to approximately $8.95 billion at the time of writing.
