Unlocking the Power of XRP Ledger EVM

In anticipation of the EVM sidechain launch on the mainnet, RippleX developers have inked a collaboration agreement with EasyA, a renowned hub for developers seeking to enhance their access to the Ethereum sidechain.

EasyA introduces an innovation called "60 Days of XRPL," aiming to unlock the XRP Ledger EVM sidechain for its extensive community of over 750,000 developers. Collaborating with some of the world's top universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, EasyA's goal is to educate and expand the capabilities of the next generation of developers, enabling them to leverage the forthcoming XRP Ledger (XRPL) integration with EVM programmability.

EasyA is well-known for its Web3 learning platform and its close partnerships with over 300 top blockchain university clubs worldwide, from Harvard to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, and more.

A Gateway to Innovation and Funding

EasyA's founders have received backing from leading venture capital firms like Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and prestigious accelerators like Y Combinator. With the launch of seven new learning challenges within the EasyA app, incorporating XRPL integration with EVM programming capabilities, the community gains access to a vast pool of talent. Additionally, developers can showcase their potential at the EasyA x XRP Ledger hackathon in London in April 2024, with a chance to win $25,000 in prize money. Beyond the prize fund, top developers will have access to additional funding, mentoring, and grant opportunities within the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

A Bright Future for XRPL and EVM Integration

Markus Infanger, Senior Vice President of RippleX, commented, "Integrating XRPL with EVM is a significant step forward in attracting a new group of developers. Our partnership with EasyA leverages their strong crypto community, helping us provide developers worldwide with another educational resource to explore and develop XRPL. We are excited to see the next major DeFi project emerge on the XRPL platform."

Ripple and its partner, Peersyst, are developing the EVM sidechain to enable smart contract programming within XRPL. This addition complements XRPL's existing advanced features, including an integrated DEX. XRPL has made significant strides in bringing blockchain benefits to the world, offering tokenization, settlements, and liquidity solutions for a wide range of decentralized applications.

Developers interested in testing XRPL's integration with EVM can do so through the EasyA app, available for download on iOS and Android devices.
